The Final Cut is the twelfth workshop cd by English rock band Pink Floyd, released on 21 March 1983 in the UK and on 2 April in the USA through Harvest and Columbia Records. It makes up extra product from the previous Pink Floyd document, The Wall (1979 ), together with new product taped throughout 1982. The Final Cut was the last Pink Floyd cd to feature starting participant Roger Seas, that left from the band in 1985. It is also the only Pink Floyd album not to feature starting participant and also keyboardist Richard Wright, that left the band after the Wall surface sessions. The recording was tormented by problem; guitar player David Gilmour felt many of the tracks were not worthwhile of inclusion, however Waters charged him of falling short to add material himself.
