With the market invaded by many 3D adventure puzzle games, it can be very easy to miss the upcoming title to this kind. And at a time when some can be spoiled by pretty high quality graphics, it can be a bit easy to forget the title of Busy Toaster, Georifters. Although the graphics are not something to say, apart from a few models at the decent look, there are a few things it does well, making it a decent title for gender fans, and in particular For young children and families.
We start our adventure with a sweet and happy little lady, named Candy, who has just learned that an unstable flaw opened. Alongside Chief, we learn that cracks are unstable and cause vagueness of wicked Buttflys to ruin their sweet land. You will travel through 6 different worlds and meet new playable characters while completing more than 30 different levels.
The main adventure can be played solo or you can ask a friend to join you to have fun in Coop on Sofa. You will play through 10 different steps per level, which will force you to collect crystals. Although you can find a scene with several crystals, you only need the first to unlock the portal to the exit. To reach these crystals, you will have to move and manipulate the world to move the brown blocks and find our jewel glitter behind them. But if you find a red block, do not fall! These will make you lose a life and force you to restart the level if you hit them too many times and the same goes for energy zapping tips.
The rest of the game maintains this throughout, which is not a bad thing, but it tends to become repetitive after a while. But fortunately, to get out of this recurring gameplay cycle, each character we meet and play with his own unique power. Candy can blow things up with his bubblegum cannon while Dr. Schnoz can create new paths by vertically separating paths.
Georifters implements a power bar system where three pressures of a block will exhaust your battery, forcing you to wait for it to recharge. Since the waiting time so that your power is rebuilding is not long, it can get you out of the experience while waiting for its return, not to mention that it can become quite frustrating for special flaw levels. Special level faults will appear from time to time and will require players to perform certain tasks within a stricter period. I ended up do not make the majority of special flaws due to the fact that I had to wait for my battery to recharge, but I found that by continuing to play, the game would implement more timers. It's quite correct, but when your main action is limited to three a row maneuvers, forcing you to wait, it can certainly get you out of the experience. But fortunately, if you play with a friend, have to wait for your power bar to recharge does not seem so tedious because you do not lose power both at the same time.
If you have even more friends and family members who wish to participate in the party, there is also the Battle Ground mode that can accommodate up to 4 players. Here you will have a wonderful arsenal of bombs, deafening grenades and other weapons to get rid of it and see who can collect the most crystals first. I found this fashion much more enjoyable because I could play with some of my friends at the same time and we had a wider range of weapons that we could use one another. There are also optional options that allow the player to change the number of tricks and the amount of health of each competitor.
The artistic style is brilliant and lively if a little rough but passable. The character models seem a little strange, especially faces that have a bit of a fright factor. Fortunately, we do not see the characters who close so often, so it can be easy to forget. We may not be able to repair their faces, but fortunately for us, the seven heroes are customizable. As we progress in adventure mode, we can win and unlock new features, which gives us at least a little more motivation to move forward.
Georifters has good things to do but he certainly needs to be refined, especially for gender veteran fans. That said, I would definitely recommend this game to families, especially those with young children, because the artistic style gives the impression that it is more addressed to children. Adventure mode can be a fun cooperative experience on the couch, but I would not be surprised that the Battle Ground mode is the one played most often. __ ### Good * Luminous and bright aesthetics * The Battle Ground mode is very fun * Unlocked customizations * An excellent cooperative game on sofa * Great title for young children 65 ### The bad * Gameplay quickly becomes repetitive * Wait for the battery to recharge is a disappointment * Character models are not the most beautiful
