Skyward Sword HD Tips - How to get old flowers, tumbleweeds, monster claws, bird springs and evil crystals
We have already treated all different upgrades available in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, be it for weapons and shields or drinks and equipment. But how do you collect some of these treasures? What are the most ideal places?
Let's take a look at the old flowers. These can be found mainly in the Lanayru desert by meeting Timeshift stones. You can find one by going to the south statue in the south and continue to the south until you find the stone. Hit on it and climb the tendrils up to reach the old flower. You can also go to the caves in the southern region and use bombs in the propellant passage. This activates a Timeshift zone and allows you to achieve the Ancient Flower in the propellant sandpool in the south (and that can be managed).
If you are outside the temple of time, finally look for a timeshift stone on a tower tip - meet him and there are two antique flowers that can be obtained with the Beetle.
Next, Monster Claws are. They do not just get them from mini-games and treasure chests, but also from Keese (and sometimes by Gossip Stones, if they interact with them). Keese can be found at a series of places, including the SkyView Temple, the Eldin Volcano, the Lanayru Desert, the Erdtempel and Faron Woods. Give yourself for a simple farm route to the SkyView Temple and venture through the halls to eliminate all the Keese on the way to the bird statue. Once you have reached it, teleport outside and repeat the process.
Tumbleweeds are another treasure used to improve objects, but they do not fall off enemies, chests, stones, etc. Instead, you have to go to the southern part of the Lanayru desert. Look on the map for three small circles - Tumbleweeds tend to drift back and forth in this section. Take out the insect network to collect them, but be fast. Through the impact on walls disappear.
Bird springs can be found by capturing Chirris in Faron Woods. You need the bug net to capture it, so get that before. Blue bird springs are also available from Blue Chirris in Faron Woods, though these are a bit less common. Other places where you can be found are treasure chests from Moonlight Merchant, the mini-game Pumpkin Pull in Skyloft and the Mini Play Clean Cut on Bamboo Island.
Evil crystals are the rarest treasure in terms of droprade - they can be obtained from cursed bokoblins, Dark Keese and Dark Lizalfos. You can sometimes get you from claystones when you use the goddesses, and from treasure chests. The Clean Cut Mini Game on Bamboo Island also offers a price if you have over 20 slices.
