When you fall into the world of Rust, you do not receive any index or advice on what to do. It's up to you to explore the area, look for supplies and find a place to build your base. If you really want to succeed, you will need to learn how to get the best equipment possible to survive.
The armor is a must if you want to stay alive while you progress. As you progress in every step of the game (start of game, mid-part and end of party), you will have to find the right type of armor that corresponds to what you will do in each of them. The stages of the game are related to the "erasure" of the server, or when the server deletes all the objects created by the user to bring back the playground to the beginning for everyone.
This guide is here to help you eliminate growing pain from finding these combos yourself. We decompose every step of the game and which combo we think is the best so you can survive and succeed.
start of the party
Wolf Headdress \ + Wood Armor
The starting start stadium is to build your base and secure it. This means looking for supplies and resources, find a location and build / manufacture. You will not have access to the upper level elements of the game, so you will have to settle for the bases.
According to our experience, wood armor is the best versatile armor at this point. You can also create Bone Armor because it is very easy to do and even has a small advantage in terms of statistics. However, it is fragile and breaks easily, which is a bad thing for you in the middle of a PVP fight. Wood Armor may be a bit worse in the statistics, but the difference is so small - and with the best durability - that it is the smartest way to proceed. It has good protection against melee damage (lances, curtains, masses) and even low level projectiles (arcs, revolvers). The only disadvantage is that your legs will be exposed.
Although you can build a wooden helmet, the best alternative is the wolf cuff. Although it is not as good in terms of protection against arrows and the cold, it surpasses it in all other statistics. You can opt for the Bucket helmet but, again, the Wolf hairstyle is the best option. It could be a little more difficult to do because you have to kill a wolf for his skull, but that should not be a big problem.
Midfielder
Coffee Helmet, Kilt Signage, & Road Sign Jacket
In the middle of the game, you will want to start building a better bigger armor to fight other players because your base is in good shape to defend themselves. You will start attacking other bases, which means you have to be ready.
For a helmet, the coffee canoe helmet is a good upgrade of the wolf cuff. Some players choose to continue using the wolf cuff during this stage because it is easier to manufacture, but we think the improvements made by the coffee canoe helmet are worth it. With this helmet, you can survive a direct head shot with a latch rifle, but only if you have full health. Anyone with his health at 80th will always die, but this protection is always good to have.
You can also opt for the Riot helmet, which has a better aesthetic than a tin canister on the head. However, the only statistic in which it is better is the melee. The community estimates that the coffee canoe helmet is the best option for PVP meetings.
Kilt and Road Sign Jacket are two beautiful armor pieces you should get as soon as you can. They give a solid shot in armor of Bone Armor and although they are not the best armor of the game, for this stage of the game, they offer the protection you need to stay alive. However, they make the wearer cold so be sure to wear a shirt and pants below when you leave your base.
Game over
Metal Metal Mask
The armor you need for Late Game is not too difficult to manufacture at all, so expect to see other players have them a few days later.
These two armor pieces are the metal facial mask and the metal breast plate. These are a bit more expensive to manufacture but they are worth it. A metal jacket requires 50 hides, high quality metals and eight sewing kits to be made, but their protection statistics are excellent. Once again, however, they make the wearer cold, so be sure to wear clothes below to compensate for that.
There is no leg armor that you can manufacture in this set, so continue rolling with the Road Sign Kilt.
Many players with rifles patrol with this armor, so it is important to manufacture it as soon as possible to protect you. We also recommend that you grow naked to do not wear this armor so that it is ready to go in raid.
Defense of the base
Heavy Underwater Armor & Heavy Plate Helmet
Your base is called to be attacked at some point and if you want to defend your valuable resources and supplies, here is the arms combo to use. But only to defend your base.
When wearing this armor, your travel speed is considerably reduced and your vision is altered. And with its reduction in your protection against the cold, it's really something to use only when you make a stand in your base. Keeping it in a smaller area gives you a greater advantage because of the great protections it offers you, but if you take it outdoors, other players can easily be easily off. The slow speed and the wrong vision simply do not worth getting out of your base. However, inside your base is the way forward to repel the attackers.
exploring
combination hazmat
It's not technically an armor, but if you just want to go out and look around the card, it's an excellent choice to use. It has some protection against melee damage and remotely, and if you are near a radiated area, it's a great way to escape other players. If your enemies start going down on you, just run into the radiation where they can not go and wait for them. Bright colors allow you to spot them more easily, but they allow you to penetrate inaccessible places to others.
So. Each of these combinations will guarantee success at any stage of the game. We know how much rouille can be when you jump for the first time, but with these sets of armor, you will already be in great shape to continue building and stay alive.
Rouille is now available on PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
